Okay, the Golden Globes are over, and what a wacky year it was—even for the Golden Globes. Here are a selection of my movie-related tweets from the show. For the complete rundown, follow me on Twitter.

Sorry, J-Law, the word is not “unchartered.” #GoldenGlobes

I stand corrected, J-Law: That Jacqueline Bisset #GoldenGlobes speech was truly “unchartered” territory.

Sure, Tom Hanks was good in Captain Phillips, but I still think he was funnier in Splash. #GoldenGlobes

No wonder Hollywood loves Her. It’s the story of a man enamored with his phone. #GoldenGlobes

Wow, Joaquin Phoenix won Best Score! #GoldenGlobes

Does anybody else find it hilarious that the guy who wrote the score for All is Lost met P. Diddy on a boat? #GoldenGlobes

Jim Carrey gets a “we’ve missed you, where have you been?” ovation. Guess nobody saw The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. #GoldenGlobes

It would’ve taken less time for The Great Beauty director to walk from Italy. #GoldenGlobes

Fun fact: Frozen is not a documentary about many of the faces in the #GoldenGlobes crowd.

And the winner for Best Director is… Martin Scorsese! (Wait, he wasn’t nominated?) #GoldenGlobes

Reese Witherspoon introduces 12 Years a Slave. Image rehab? #GoldenGlobes

American Hustle beats The Wolf of Wall Street. Because somebody ripping off Scorsese is better than the real thing? #GoldenGlobes

And the award for best use of the word “barbiturates” goes to… Cate Blanchett. Didn’t see that coming. #GoldenGlobes

Sorry, Leo, it’s not called “Phillomania.” #GoldenGlobes

Biggest surprise of the night: Johnny Depp does not have a man-bun. #GoldenGlobes

I honestly have no idea what’s going to win Best Drama but I’m pretty sure it’s not going to be 12 Years a Slave. #GoldenGlobes

I hope nobody invited Armond White to the #GoldenGlobes!

Comparing Sarah Paulson to Bette Davis? I’m gonna start heckling Steve McQueen! #GoldenGlobes
